Nodular duodenitis
Duodenitis Duodenitis
The nature of duodenitis is not completely understood. Duodenitis often is a mere unspezific reaction to duodenal ulcer. Endoscopy shows erythematous, erosive or nodular (figure) changes of the mucosa.
Erosive duodenitis
Erosive duodenitis Erosive duodenitis
Erosive Duodenitis with multiple (left) and singuar (right) errosions. The whole accesable duodenum presents with superficial mucosal lesions. The histologic work- up only corroberates errosions, but gives no explanation as far as the etiology of this lesion is concerned.
